No sooner have I taken the lens cap off my camera than I'm approached by Lori,
a wonderful, high energy antique shop proprieter. Have I got things to show
you! she giggles, and takes me to the local library, where, one quick phonecall
later, I get to meet Janet, head of the local history society. They take me
upstairs, through PRIVATE NO ENTRY doorways to the Historical Society
Archive Room. It's overwhelming. Janet has so many amazing stories, there are
so many memories contained in the books, journals and personal letters
of the archive, and their photography collection is breathtaking and poignant.
I must return someday, even if only to make a better attempt at finishing one
of Tiny's Breakfasts.
